24 Hour Square, Benalmadena

24 Hour Square does just what it says on the tin. This is an all day, all night venue, packed with bars and clubs. As it gets later, touts around the square try their best to get you into their venues with promises of free shots of cocktails. The square is a draw for hen and stag parties, so if that is what floats your boat, this is the place for you. Many of the bars lay on drinking games for customers in between loud throbbing beats…you get the picture? Linekers Bar has a great terrace, nice snacks and all the sport you could wish for on wide screen TVs – the perfect way to kick-off your evening in Benalmadena. Kiu night club is one of the most popular in the square – three dance floors, each with a different vibe, great lighting and decor. The square is not really suitable for children after dark.

Fish Alley, Fuengirola

Known locally as Fish Alley, it is actually called Calle Moncayo. This is a pedestrianised area that is full of bars and restaurants of almost every kind imaginable, from fish and chip snack bars to fine steak houses, so there is literally something for everyone. The ‘alley’ is just a few metres from the beachfront road and runs parallel to it. Rojo, a small nightclub hidden away to the rear of the port tends to be frequented by younger people and offers music until very late.


Known for its history, monkeys and shopping, Gibraltar also offers a vibrant nightlife. Ocean Village has a range of restaurants and bars, a casino and a massive floating hotel incorporating a second casino, restaurant and bars. Queensway Quay is quieter but also has several bars and restaurants. Sunborn is billed as ‘The World’s First Five Star Superyacht Hotel’ and is a large, permanently berthed cruise ship located in the marina close to Ocean Village. Onboard you will find a casino offering a range of games like blackjack, roulette and slots The world famous ‘La Sala’ restaurant from Marbella is represented on board Sunborn and offers a real five star dining experience.

Dusk bar/nightclub opens from early evening until late. Music played is from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as more modern tunes. There are seating areas outside so you can take in the views of the port by night and also a great dance floor inside. Dress your best.
